Monday Update

Bob's CAT scan this morning did not show any change in the hematoma like we were hoping, but we were able to get a better idea of the size and specifics.  The hematoma is 6.7 cm x 3 cm on the left side of his brain.  The area that the bleeding is in controls the motor functions of the right side of Bob's body.  The CAT scan showed that the fluid that has accumulated in Bob's brain has forced the one side of his brain to lean on the other side.  Since Bob had his stroke the trauma inside his brain has not changed.  We are waiting and praying for improvements and healing.

Feel free to leave a note, comment, or prayer on the blog for Bob.  We will be sure to read it to him as the ICU has requested that only immediate family members visit him at this time.

  1. Bob was resting comfortably tonight and we are all remaining calm around him and trying not to stimulate him so that his brain can heal. Mostly, we hold his hand and rub his arm and watch the attending medical staff do their job. Pastor Aaron Hunter stopped by to pray for him and the family. It's good to see the family and all his friends taking the time to help Bob and Agnes through this life challenge. 2. Agnes,
I am so sorry to learn about Bob. It sounds like you are in for a long ride. It has been a few years since we all had dinner together down in fla. Tell Bob his Michigan friends are thinking of him. I will be praying for Bob!!
    Keep up the Posts.

  3. Morden Family,
Just so you know, I've sent emails out on my personal email and on Facebook to get people to pray for Bob. I've also emailed big churches to get people to pray. Christ Fellowship emailed me that 35 people prayed for Bob last Wednesday night, which was the day he had the stroke.
Even though I'm Bob's tenant, on Singer Island, I actually consider him a good friend and I can't stop thinking about him. I even wake up in the middle of the night thinking about him.

I really believe the Lord is going to pull off a miracle with Bob and that this will ultimately work to his benefit and will benefit those who come into contact with Bob in the future.

I have never personally witnessed so many people praying for one person in my entire life. I've heard about it happening, but I've never personally witnessed it. No kidding. Tom Special
